The deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) extract is used to relieve discomfort from chronic indigestion, heartburn, stomach ulcers, and canker sores. It soothes and protects the stomach lining, helping to heal ulcers and prevent their recurrence. DGL contains no glycyrrhizin, so it’s completely safe, even for people with high blood pressure.

Recommend dosage:

200-450mg per time, 2-3 times daily;

Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is not associated with any adverse side effects as of December 2010; however, clinical studies evaluating the safety of this supplement are lacking.
