Neohesperidin is a bitter, white powder. Its melting point is 236 ~ 237 ℃. Soluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, but insoluble in ether.

Neohesperidin is a new natural nutrition sweetener, which is extracted from aurantium. The sweetness of Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone obtained hydrogenated from Neohesperidin is 1500-2000 times that of sucrose.
