Veinoflow SCD is a clinically proven medial equipment for the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE). The equipment consists of the Veinoflow controller, nondisposable tubing and single patient use leg garments or foot cuff. The compression sleeve contains three garments to supply circumferential, sequential and gradient compression to ensure clearance of the deep veins without the risk of distal blood stasis. The sleeves are available in thigh or knee length. Both the leg garments and the foot cuffs are packaged in pairs. The Veinoflow pump offers a clinician the option of two different prophylactic methods with one controller; leg compression and foot compression for the patient with wound on the leg.
