CJC-1295 DAC, a long acting GHRH polypeptide, causes the anterior pituitary's somatotropes to release growth hormone. DAC conjugated CJC-1295, makes this GHRH have a half life of more than a week (approx.8 days). GHRH peptides is released in pulses in the body which alternate with corresponding pulses of somatostatin (growth-hormone inhibiting-hormone).
