Cacoa is one of the most important cash crops grown by Cameroon farmers. In all there are approximately 500, 000 cacoa farmers in Cameroon. In West Cameroon the Trinitario variety is grown and in East Cameroon the Trinitario variety is mixed with Amelonado.
