Some teas have their own natural flavor, acquired from the plants among which theygrow. Tea bushes grown adjacent to fruit trees will naturally take on a hint ofthe scent given off by the blossoms and the fruit.Pi Lo Chun comes from East and West Dongting Mountains in Taihu Lake. Grown in veryhumid conditions surrounded by fruit trees, Pi Lo Chun absorbs the aroma of theblossoms in early spring season. When the tender leaves are just beginning toform, one new bud and one leaf are plucked then rolled by hand into neat littlespirals. The made teas are covered with fine white hairs and unfold to give a clear,green to pale golden-yellow liquor that has a wonderfully delicate and fragrantaroma and a clean aromatic flavor.
