This is a very high quality rose made from the cabernet franc varietal, which makes most of France's great rose's.  It is a cool climate wine from hand harvested, dry grown vines in the premium wine making area of Geelong - south west of Melbourne.  Very flavourful, lovely strawberry aromatics and goes very well with summer foods.  Unlike a lot of roses this is a keeper being made in the old fashioned, light skin contact style.  The wine is excess to our stock as a major buyer was unable to meet payments on this last tranche.
