Grapes have always been a big feature of the Sicilian economy, but surprisingly Sicilian wine is not well known. Sicilian wine is now elbowing its own way onto the table. It is the white wines fermented at cool, mountain temperature that are taking the leads. Flavours tend to be light, dry and floral, while reds are heavy and fruity. Sicilian dessert wines are excellent. Top of the list is Marsala sweet wine which is very similar to Portuguise Porto. The Italian most famous dessert wine is the Moscato passito from Pantelleria, one of the Sicilian islands deeply emerged into the Mediterranian. It has a deep amber colour and an extraordinary taste of apricots and vanilla. As far as the Sicilian wines, I would like to offer you both wine in exclusive bottles and the ones directly from the cellers, by litres. I must put an accent to one important thing: these are the medium-high quality wines. If interested in a lower quality wines we can offer you those as well.
